Focused on sales, media and program development, Dan played a pivotal role in building Promotivate into a successful, multi-faceted agency with strength in media, creative, promotions and execution. By 2001, Dan had become owner and Chief Executive Officer of both Promotivate LP and Promotivate of America. Having established and maintained relationships with key clients and partners spanning over two decades, Dan has created highly-successful business relationships with some of the most prominent executives in North America. He is forever pushing for performance improvements, and always with the goal of delivering real growth to clients’ businesses.
Vice President, Media & MarketingLouis joined the Promotivate team in 2007 and is responsible for developing integrated media and marketing solutions that drive business results and value to Promotivate clients. In addition, he is tasked with ensuring that Promotivate’s internal structures and processes (media/creative) function efficiently and deliver on client needs. With over 18 years of experience in media, advertising, sponsorship & digital, Louis has worked on a diverse array of clients including Unilever, Home Hardware, Expedia, LG, and TD, among others. Louis holds a business degree from McGill University (Marketing/International business), and prior to joining Promotivate held positions at Mediacom and JWT.
Vice President, Operations & Quality ControlWith over twenty five years of experience working for Promotivate, Michael is one of the company’s longest-standing employees. He specializes in print production and operations, delivering incredible experience and a work ethic that is second to none. As Vice President of Operations and Quality Control, Michael’s primary responsibility is to ensure the proper execution of all Promotivate client initiatives. In particular, he takes great pride in reviewing all materials prior to print and/or production to guarantee perfect execution. Through the tireless efforts of Michael and his staff, Promotivate has been able to exceed the expectations of clients for over two decades.
Director of Fulfillment & Customer ServiceFor over 15 years, Lynn has lead Promotivate’s promotions fulfillment and customer service, providing solutions to retailers and their customers for some of the largest promotions in North America.
Vice President, Business Affairs & Account ServicesDoug has been with Promotivate for 11 years, focusing primarily on large-scale retail promotions. Using creativity, passion, diligence and attention to detail, Doug has created some of the biggest consumer promotions in the country. His primary role is to lead the account team’s management of day-to-day account relationships, working with clients to understand their key objectives and developing successful marketing strategies. A thought leader that promotes innovative ideas to solve client business challenges, Doug’s team manages projects from inception to completion. He is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours BA in Communications.
Director of Strategy - RetailMatthew joined Promotivate in 2015 as Director of Strategy, responsible for retail strategy and account planning for Promotivate clients. Prior to joining Promotivate, he worked client-side at one of Canada’s largest grocers, Sobeys Inc., holding a number of senior marketing roles across retail marketing, advertising, business intelligence, customer analytics, and loyalty-rewards programs. Having held positions at Sobeys’ regional and national offices, Matthew is a true student of the consumer, always searching for the latest trends and assessing the impact of emerging technologies. In 2012, Matthew was named by the Food Industry Association of Canada as a member of Canadian Grocer Magazine’s Generation N.E.X.T.; one of eight Canadians under the age of 40 acknowledged as up-and-coming leaders in the retail grocery and consumer packaged goods industries. Matthew holds an MBA (Hons) General Management and a BBA (Hons) Finance/Marketing, and was recently employed by PwC as a management consultant.
Director of Business DevelopmentWith over 15 years of sponsorship, sales and marketing experience, Brian has amassed a network of contacts that spans nearly every industry imaginable. He started his Promotivate career in 2004 focused on building corporate partnerships, and later became Director of Business Development. He is responsible for sales, sponsorship and supporting various Promotivate client promotions by securing product prizing through contra and creative purchasing arrangements. Prior to joining Promotivate, Brian was Senior Account Manager at Brunico Communication, a leading producer of Canadian and International print and electronic publications and industry events focused on the entertainment and marketing sectors. Brian holds a BA (Hons.) Communications, Media and Culture and has a lifelong passion for all things marketing, sports and entertainment.
